Most hearing aids are worn during the day and removed at night. Lyric is placed deep in the ear canal and worn continuously, for weeks or months, without daily removal. It also uses your ear’s natural acoustics differently to traditional devices.

Is Lyric truly invisible?

Yes. Because it sits deep in the ear canal, it’s not visible in normal everyday situations, including in photos and video calls.

Can I sleep, shower, and exercise with it in?

How long does each device last?

Each device lasts several weeks to a few months, depending on your ear and activity level. When the battery depletes, you visit the clinic for a quick replacement.

Does it help with tinnitus?

Some Lyric users experience relief from tinnitus with continuous use, due to the constant low-level sound stimulation. This isn’t guaranteed, but it’s worth discussing during your consultation if tinnitus is a concern.

What happens if I want to remove it?

While Lyric is designed for continuous wear, you’ll be shown how to remove it yourself if needed. Your audiologist will walk you through this at your fitting.

Do I need a hearing loss diagnosis to try Lyric?

We’ll assess your hearing and ear suitability at your consultation. If you haven’t had a recent hearing test, we can include this as part of your appointment.
