I want every person who visits Hearlix to feel genuinely heard, supported and comfortable asking questions. My goal is to help people better understand their hearing and feel confident making informed decisions about their care.

Provisional Audiologist

Miriam is a compassionate and thoughtful provisional audiologist who is passionate about helping people feel more confident and connected through better hearing.

She holds a Bachelor of Speech and Hearing Science and a Master of Clinical Audiology. Her clinical experience includes adult hearing rehabilitation, with a focus on assessing hearing loss and providing treatment recommendations tailored to each person’s individual needs, lifestyle and communication goals.

Miriam understands that seeking help for hearing concerns can feel unfamiliar or overwhelming. She takes the time to listen carefully, explain each stage of the appointment clearly and create a welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable asking questions. Her approach is warm, patient and collaborative, ensuring each person feels involved in decisions about their hearing health.

Miriam has a genuine passion for supporting people throughout their hearing journey, from their first hearing assessment through to treatment and ongoing care. She finds it especially rewarding to help clients better understand their hearing and discover practical solutions that can improve communication in their everyday lives.

She also has a particular heart for working with young children. Through her involvement in the children’s ministry at her church, Miriam has developed a natural ability to connect with children in a patient, gentle and reassuring way. She takes great joy in helping children feel safe, supported and at ease.

Outside the Clinic

Outside of audiology, Miriam enjoys being involved in her church community, particularly through serving in children’s ministry. This experience has further strengthened her passion for supporting children and families with kindness, patience and genuine care.
